Summary:
Altogether quite pleased. The CD mechanisms on the others are considerably slower and noisier; moreover, when changing the eq levels the music is annoyingly interrupted. The Phillips was the ONLY I saw that did not irritate me thus. Decent bass, cleaner trebles than the others. Tricky remote, but hey. I don't plan to part with this one any time soon. ~$200 over the web = way less than competitors. Plus the Aiwa plays that stupid slots game. I expected better and found it in the Phillips.
