Review 1 of 1

Summary:
We have a Phillips mini system as do some of my friends and they perform very well. Ours occasionally provides music for a party or two, and does so without any bother at all. (the damn thing can be on max volume and it still sounds cool - no distortion at all). Very user friendly and compact with very good sound for a system of its type. I wouldnt hesitate buying another one the same is the need arose. Wouldnt swap it for the most expensive AIWA on the market. (AIWA seem to have the gruntiest amplifiers and most flashing lights, but unfortuately the speakers cant handle it & the lights are somewhat annoying.)

Strengths:
compact, fully featured, remote for tv as well, 3 year warranty,

Weaknesses:
could do with electronic tape deck instead of manual buttons

Similar Products Used:
AIWA, Sony, Kenwood

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
