Wow! Krell is a great company with a great product. I have not heard a better player, especially when you factor in I got this player for 1/2 off as it is a demo with full warranty. CDs spring to life. Jazz, classical, classic rock, blues all sound great. It is important only to match this product with a solid amp and great speakers. It is a revealing, but not a punishing cd player.
I am running an Acurus DIA 150, with Wharfedale PI 30 speakers. I plan on adding a tuner, phono, and a minidisc recording system. Strengths:
Musical, accurate, hdcd, strong design. doesn''t add any color to the cd Weaknesses:
it is a true representation of the cd. therefore if the cd quality is questionably, so is the playback. garbage in garbage out (this is probably a strength). Similar Products Used:
