Review 1 of 2

Summary:
This is the best system i have owned. i bought it for 150 dollars, it sounds like a 400 dollar stereo. as far as the other guy talkin bout a fire, well must of been defective or something. i turn mine up to 20-21 all the time still sounds as good as it would on 15! this stereo stays cool and i have never had it over heat, even when ive had it on for hours at a time!

Strengths:
fairly good bass, great quality for the price! easy to use, easy wiring, adjustable bass, midrange, and treble and has some good features.

Weaknesses:
NONE!

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $300.00 from vissions

Summary:
This product nearly caught fire on me after 9 months. I haven't had it too loud since, Well bellow anywhere it can distort at all (20/30 max). After having it 15 months it will not work. I think the amp is dead. This is a $200+ repair job and i'm buyin a new, different stereo. If you see this model don't buy it unless you wanna see an electrical fire in your house.

Strengths:
fairly deep bass

Weaknesses:
Awful wirring

Similar Products Used:
none

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
