from brandnamez.com Summary: System I speak about: 1999 D-M10 with the original Mission speakers and the optional tape deck.
Excellent system for the money. Sound is very natural and well-defined. Works best for classical and jazz but still fine for metal and electronic music.
Concerns about durability of the CD changer down the road. Strengths: clean, precise sound power (given its size) looks, no gimmicks 3-CD changer convenient timer features if used as bedroom stereo dolby C on tape deck
Weaknesses: 3-CD changer is noisy and occasionally jams (warrantied once already...) choice of functions available on remote vs. on the unit itself is debatable upgrade the speaker cables lacks full low-frequencies reproduction (but it's still fine, really!) Similar Products Used: none in the exact same category, but both nicer, separated element stereo (Marantz/Pioneer/Yamaha/KEF) and cheaper JVC UX1
