Review 1 of 3 , from SLC, UT

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Ultimate Electronics

Summary:
This product was much less than I anticipated. Less than 6 months after buying this product the CD player stopped working and when I took in for repairs they had to order a whole new player. Also, it does not produce nearly the sound I expected for the cost I payed.

Strengths:
Good sound reproduction on the midrange and tweeter level.

Weaknesses:
Poor base and overall volume. Also, CD player went our less than a year after I bought it and had to be replaced.

Review 2 of 3 , from Los Angeles

Summary:
Its an awesome product. VERY VERY clear and undistorted sound. It also has great sound placement. Reproduces sound dead on. Vocals and instrumentals are especially good.

Easy setup. High Quality build/materials.

Remember, this is a mini system, so if you want deafening bass, this is the wrong system. No sub-out.

Also preset eq pop function is useless. But, you don't find eq's on any minisystems, so this is expected.

Strengths:
Good sound stage placement

Weaknesses:
no "open cd tray" button on remote. No subwoofer out.

Review 3 of 3 , from Philadelphia

Summary:
This item is outstanding for its size and price, especially as it is readily available from EBay at a steep discount (around $200 typically). The sound is remarkable for a mini system with a real sense of depth and texture. Nothing tinny and meagre, such as one finds in some small systems. It functions beautifully as a wake up system. As an added bonus, it is versatile, relatively easy to use and is elegantly designed. The remote is a bit fiddly for my middle aged eyes to contend with, but once you know your way around it, it's fine.

For those looking for a system with a small footprint to use for listening in a relatively small area, it is ideal.

(Please note that I use it to listen to classical music and jazz, so cannot speak to its bass and volume capacity.)

Strengths:
Excellent fidelity and depth of sound for so small a system; versatile; elegant design

Weaknesses:
Remote is a bit fiddly, but fine once you get used to it

Similar Products Used:
Musiqube (yech), component system (AR speakers and tuner, Pioneer CD changer)
