Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $350.00

Summary:
It is a great proudct for the starting audio person. It has pretty much every thing you could ever need maybe it could have a built-in tape player so you didnt have to hook one up to it. Over all it is a great proudct.

Strengths:
The 3-dick Cd player and 5 MD player

Weaknesses:
The Md player didnt work when i bought it so i sent it back and they sent me a new one that the MD player didnt work on

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $185.00 from Ebay

Summary:
I've had just about everything stereo set-up imaginable, Bose system, dalhquist home theater towers, you know name it. If you need a mini-system (two medium size speakers and a center control) then you can't do much better than this. Great sound, functionality, and (for me) a great price off Ebay!

Strengths:
Great QUALITY sound compared to equal systems of other makes. 5 MD and 5 MD capacity is convienient, and everything functions logically and easily. I don't know what those other reviews are talking about.

Weaknesses:
As far as mini-systems go, this is the way to go.

Review 4 of 8

Summary:
It's great...the only thing that really annoys me is that some functions can only be found on the remote, and others can only be found on the unit.

Strengths:
Easy recording, digital in and out, aux in, tape capabilities, surround and sub out

Weaknesses:
No tape (who cares, use MD)

Similar Products Used:
none

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
