Price Paid:  $200.00 from Costco

Summary:
This is a very nice all-in-one sound system. It surprisingly comes very close to some much more expensive amps that I have, and then some. It does Home Theater and music well. This is a true Aiwa product, well laid out, many nice different color lights to inform you what modes it is in. Aiwa gave alot of quality in this product for the price. I'm running 4 pair of speakers on it right now, that's eight speakers! All in 2-channel and it's very impressive large big sound with the clarity and detail I hear from my more expensive amps, pretty surprising! I didn't expect that.

Strengths:
clarity and clear sound that usually can only behad from more expensive digital amps. BBE technology.

Weaknesses:
Sony bought Aiwa, now Aiwa is not the same company or product offerings as they once used to be! Luckily the AV-300 is all true Aiwa before Sony purchased them. The new Aiwa products today look cheap and no longer have the quality or excellent designs they once had, as Sony made sure they structure Aiwa below the Sony products, not surprising, shame on Sony!

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
