Summary:
This Zenith VCR actually sells under the brand name Allegro. I bought it because it was the lowest Hi-Fi VCR I could find. The picture and sound are both good. Using gold plated/shielded cables the picture was improved. The remote is comprehensive with tracking and commercial skip included. There is no clock or tape counter. Green and red lights convey status. After aprox 6 months the unit is functioning with fault. I would recommend to those seeking a bargain unit, perhaps for a bedroom with a second TV.
