Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $25.00 from ebay

Summary:
This is an overall good vcr with great picture quality and descent sound. Its so easy to use I just plugged it in and it did everything for me. It set the clock the channels and even the channel names. Although it has mono sound its outstanding picture quality makes up for it. What else amazed me is how fast it rewinds. It rewound a whole tape in just over a minute, wherefore it took my other vcr over five minutes to rewind the same tape. I would recomend this vcr to anyone who dosent need stereo sound, and who wants an easy to use good quality vcr.

Strengths:
ultra fast 180x rewind. Auto tracking. Auto clock set. Durable design. 4 heads for great picture output

Weaknesses:
mono sound. confusing to use remote. The on-screen-display has to be manualy tunrned off using the remote every time you use the unit.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
