Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $1095.00 from Ubid.com

Summary:
I too bought this unit on Ubid as a refurbished model. To this day i can't figure out why its refurbished. It has no flaws that i can find. I absolutely love this unit and would recommened it to anybody that is looking for a RPTV with component inputs. My dvd's have never looked so good.

Strengths:
Great picture quality. Plenty of inputs to keep me satisfied.

Weaknesses:
None that i can find.

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
I purchased the Toshiba TP55H95 Cinema Series from UBid for $1200(I feel like I cheated them, the next week I saw the same TV on UBid with a starting bid of $1600!) about 9 months ago and have not regretted it for one second. The picture quality is amazing for it’s size. This thing has a built in subwoofer that goes surprisingly low. In/Out connections on the back are plentiful. It is on wheels so moving it is a snap. It retails for about $3600, but it can be found for around the $2000 range. If you get an opportunity to buy one cheap, don’t pass it up. You will never go back to those tiny TVs ever again. I gave it a 4 star value rating(paying thousands(retail) for a TV seems kind of extreme), but if you can get it for what I paid the value rating would be somewere around 35 stars :o)

Strengths:
Size, Picture quality, Audio, Input/Outputs

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
