Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $150.00 from internet

Summary:
This unit stopped working about 6 months after I purchased it. I had high hopes thinking that the Toshiba name represented some degree of quality. I kept it all these years gathering dust thinking it might be just a minor gliche causing the unit to continuous stop after 5 seconds of play. I was finally tired of looking at it and was ready to toss it out when I decided to check some web site user comments. Seems others had similar bad experience. This was the last Toshiba of any type that I purchased.

Review NaN of , from North Brunswick, NJ

Price Paid:  $75.00

Summary:
Bought this VCR from 6th Ave. Electronic for $75. Expected the Toshiba unit to behave like my other name brand VCRs...False! This VCR generates a lot of motor and gear noises when it is in use. The only way to override the motor noise is to crank up the volume on my TV. Would like to have an exchange or a refund from 6th Ave. but cannot because they have a ten day return policy (I had it for three weeks). So, play close attention to the gear noises when you're planning to buy a VCR!

Review NaN of , from Kingston, NY

Summary:
I just this from the auction ONLINE.COM. I thought it was a great buy at $119.00.
I set it up the other day and i enjoyed the tuner section, with VCR plus putting
program names on the screen.
Then today I put in a pre-recorded tape and it wouldn't track the tape. I tried several PRE-recorded tapes and the same thing. THESE ARE TAPE I BOUGHT not ones that I previously taped. What a piece of CRAP. The box itself is a little cheap also. I thought I was buying a good brand of VCR but i feel i got a piece of Korean junk.

Strengths:
VCR PLUS+

Weaknesses:
The screen goes blanks in between channel changes
