Review 1 of 2

Summary:
The best picture output you can buy (in the price range).

Strengths:
(I'm not sure what them model year is)
Simply put, this is the best VCR i've ever used! Finally, VCR's with S-Video (why do DVD players get all the goodies first?). Lots of features, nice on screen layout, and the picture quality is awesome!

Weaknesses:
If your using and older TV, you could get something better for your cash. But if your TV supports S-Video, go for it. (I'm using a 36" Sony Trinitron...another great product)

Similar Products Used:
I really havn't had the chance to test out other s-video VCR's, but the video quality is just under DVD

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
Just got this unbelievable product and I love it. It replaced a 5 year old Mitsubishi which was state of the art back then and virtually obsolete in comparison.
Along with the long list of cool features, the picture quality is fabulous. The ability to hear dialogue while in scanning is awesome. I am not sure what the 9600 offers over the 9500 but I think the jog dial on the unit is one new feature.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
