Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $150.00 from e-bay

Summary:
It works ok but has the stupidest remote control you can imagine with a flip top. Also, it's next to impossible to get it to record from an external source such as a camcorder. You can't do it on demand, you have to program the timer in order to make it work.

Strengths:
Performance is pretty good.

Weaknesses:
It was designed by committees who did not communicate with each other.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $149.00

Summary:
Bought one in July (owned 2 Mitsubishi vcrs previously) and returned it to The (not so) Good Guys in August because it quit. Returned that one in December because it (too) quit. They offered to send it for service. Requested credit toward a new model. They said "NO". Kept it (you want it?) and bought a Go-Video. Mitsubishi and the Good Guys... Never again.

Strengths:
None...

Weaknesses:
Low speed recordings were terrible and special effects were poor quality.

Similar Products Used:
Mitsubishi 560, U52

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
