Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $79.00 from Fry's Electronics

Summary:
I am a heavy user and work in the entertainment industry and I have never had a problem with this VCR. I have 4 VCR's and this one has better quality and performance then all of them and 2 are high end (Toshiba M-754 and S-VHS JVC HR-S7800U). They are on 24/7 (going on 3 years)and the Toshiba has been in shop twice. I love it and will replace it with another Mitsubishi unit when it finally fails. Definitely worth the money.

Strengths:
Tape quality scan (perfect picture tech), zero back, high quality picture, low price

Weaknesses:
Can only store 8 programs in memory and cant adjust tracking from remote.

Similar Products Used:
JVC HR-S7800 ($349), Toshiba M-754 ($250), Sharp VC-H972

Review NaN of , from Michigan

Price Paid:  $99.00 from ABC Warehouse

Summary:
My initial impression was that this product was a really good deal. I liked the basics that the machine provided: the sound, the picture, and the remote control.

Eventually (6 Months into owning this) I started having serious problems with it, eating tapes, error codes flashing on the display, tape loading issues.

I wouldn't recommend it based on these issues.

I also want to note that this VCR is DISTRIBUTED by Mitsubishi...I don't think they actually made it.

Strengths:
Price, inital performance. Initially good bang for buck.

Weaknesses:
Durability.....6 Months after owning it I was having problems.
