For what this HD-VHS VCR is designed to do, it does it very well. It displays recorded HD content very well. U-571 and Transporter look astonishing.

Strengths:
3 IEEE connections, including one in the front. Three S-Video connections including one in the front. Awesome pre-recorded HD content. Great analog recording image.

Weaknesses:
After viewing a HD movie, the vcr heads need to be cleaned, otherwise you'll get some picture static and video shimmering.
