Review NaN of , from Dallas Texas USA

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
I bought this unit through the Circuit City Website and had it delivered to one of their local stores. This is a one all-do all if you have video tapes from outside the USA. No extra hardware is needed to view tapes from anywhere.

Strengths:
Has great Hi-Fi Stereo sound and picture is always clear. Auto tracking works very well too.

Weaknesses:
Only flaw I have found which is little is the noise reduction feature. If you use this unit with a home theatre system, you will see a slight difference. But if using only with a TV, you wont know the difference in sound level. But for the money you will pay, I would recommend not using this as your main VCR, cause any repair cost for a unit like this can be costly. And if any repairs are not done right, it could affect your universal features.

Review NaN of , from San Jose, CA

Price Paid:  $699.00 from On-Line retailer

Summary:
For the ability to play VHS tapes from all over the world, in addition to very high quality, I do highly recommend the Aiwa MX100 multi-stand VCR. However, I have had it repaired twice (once under warranty and once out of pocket $200), but it does get HEVAY use at my house! I am assuming that my repair experiences are not the standard for this usnit, and I would happily purchase this mocel again.

Strengths:
Clear picture, good Auto Tracking, good recording quality of audio and video.

Weaknesses:
Menu is hard to use to timer recordings.
