Summary:
Very happy with SAT B50. On screen previewing and "Favorite Channel" features are supurb. No problems at all with the unit. Have had it +2 years. Shopping for a second one to replace my cheap-o RCA unit that Directv made me buy when they told me my other receiver would work anymore (READ-BS. RIPPED OFF BY DIRECTV).

I have had nothing but problems getting the unit to power up, and operate. It will be on, but the power light will not display, its slow, when I load up the test menu, it will freeze for no good reason, with or without the card being in there.

Summary:
Excellent Receiver! I used several of the older RCA models and got this Sony as a replacement. I can't even use my other receivers. The functionality on the sony is top notch. Viewing the picture as I surf and the channel index can't be beat. Excellent product.
