Summary:
This is a great system! There is no better way to get this many channels. It was kind of a pain to install. After figuring out how to mount it to the roof of my house, the hardest part was adjusting it to get a strong signal. I get a strong enough signal that "rain fade" is never a problem. The unit itself is cheap and simple, but does the job fine.
The only problem I've had is with the remote control, which uses up batteries at an alarming rate; just a few weeks, and it needs a new battery. The buttons on the unit are hard to find and press, so it's always easier to use the remote control.

Strengths:
Low price. This is the cheapest system available, but it gets a strong signal just as good as a more expensive unit.

Weaknesses:
Remote control uses up batteries very quickly.

THE PERFORMANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT IS FINE, AS LONG AS IT DOES'NT RAIN OR SNOW AT YOUR HOUSE. THE RAIN FADE PROBLEM IS A BIG ISSUE WITH ME. I KNOW YOU CAN GET A COVER BUT IT STILL HAPPENS! YOU JUST SIT DOWN TO WATCH A GOOD MOVIE AND HERE COMES A THUNDERSTORM-PICTURE BREAK-UP, PICTURE LOSS IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IT RAINS OR SNOWS. YOU NEVER HEAR THIS SIDE OF SATELLITE TV. AT LEAST CABLE STAYS ON WHEN IT RAINS. MY SIGNAL STRENGTH IS A SOLID 92 SO I DOUBT THAT IS IT. OF COURSE IN GOOD WEATHER IT IS FANTASTIC, AND IT IS NOT RAINING ALL THE TIME,BUT SCRAPPING ICE AND SNOW AT -2 DEGREES ON YOUR ROOF IS NO FUN. ONE DAY IT RAINED HARD ALL DAY , GUESS WHAT? NO PICTURE ALL DAY WE HAD TO WATCH LOCAL CHANNELS ALL DAY----BORING!!!!!!!! SATELLITE -NOT RECOMENDED
