Strengths:    Perfect picture and sound. Plenty of outputs. AC-3.

Weaknesses:    Some times smart card has to be removed and reinserted

Bottom Line:
I've had a dish network 4722/2700 system for over a year. I have the 2700 in my bedroom and the 4722 in my family room. The 4722 has an s-video and toslink connection to my TV and DD receiver in my family room. A second set of RCA connections runs to my TV/DD receiver in my basement.

I didn't pay anything for it since I qualified for a rebate that covered the cost. I just had to agree to spend $56/month for a year.

The picture and sound are perfect on both systems. The only drawback is that both TV's have to watch the same thing.

Occasionally, something gets screwed up with my system and I have to pull the smart card out and reinsert it. I think this happens when there's a software upgrade and the system needs to reboot itself.

One thing I've discovered is that if you do use a muti TV setup with this receiver, try to place the receiver in such a way that the antenna in the back is as unobstructed as possible. It makes changing channels much easier from the second TV.

Also, the coaxial output on the back of the receiver has mono sound.
