Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $850.00 from JL Electronics

Summary:
If your interested in owning a CD library or DVD library, the DV-F07 is a true contender. I use it for DVD storage and play. It's been flawless since 2001. Well built and easy too look at. It plays everything including CD-R's and DVD+R's and decodes both DD and DTS.

Strengths:
built quality, CD and DVD playback is first rate. DD and DTS decoding

Weaknesses:
remote is confusing, I use a universal remote

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $600.00 from Ubid & CrazyEddie

Summary:
Overall I like this unit. Great features, wonderful video and audio. If you are a DVD nut and are looking at building an initial set of less than 600 this is the unit... The disk file interface is poor when comparing to satellite channel listing display format..its like comparing a DOS and Windows interface. I am still looking for firmware to replace the existing one. I wouldn't use this unit for CD's since there are cheaper carousels for this purpose. I just bought a second unit after a year with the first and am trying the daisy chain function .. so far no luck ..

Strengths:
Holds 300+1 DVD and can be daisy chained with one more unit Looks Great Excellent number of connections at the back. Outstanding video and audio.

Weaknesses:
I dont have the word to describe the poorness of the Remote Control (crappy is a word but its not even close to that good). I've tried to daisy chain 2 with no success -- customer support reads from the manual -- really useful -- not In the current file listing only 12 characters is available for title ... someone should tell pioneer that movie titles often have more than 12 chars.
