Bottom Line: A very pricy unit that may just be worth it. Essentially, you're paying for the Faroudja video processor, which can dramatically enhances DVD picture quality.
However, I believe there is another DVD unit out there that also contains the Faroudja chip for a lot less (Panasonic, maybe???). Do a web search...

Bottom Line: I purchased this unit THINKING I was going to return it. That the picture difference between it, and my Elite LD/DVD unit was going to be very slight.
I WAS WRONG. VERY, VERY WRONG.
Simply STUNNING output to my HD set. Especially on all animated works. Complete removal of jaggies and other chroma issues. Compared to other units, the Faroudja chips are amazing! And you can CONTROL THE AMOUNT! [great demo for others, btw]
Pricey player, but worth the $$ if you want to squeeze every last drop from your DVDs and CDs.
