This system is prob one of the better low priced systems out thier today. I found the quality of the speakers are clear and crisp compared to some of the higher priced speakers and also You have to watch the MAXTRIX on this unit it will blow your windows up.

Strengths:
Its a great system for a first home theater system.It has enough power to give you the feeling your watching something in the theaters and also I cant stress it any more that the speaker quality is GREAT .NICE CRISP SOUND. I would suggest buying better speaker wire to replace the one that comes included.

Weaknesses:
Well only found a few bad things , sub woof. sounds like it gets a little to deep kinda have to play around with the settings also you cant play cdrs so you mp3 and mpg finatics going to have to hold the buy on this one but other then that this is a great machine

Summary:
After looking at many different brands I purchesed the Sony 1300D.This system has plenty of power and great sound. The reciever has alot of faetures that are easy to use,the optical connection is probably the best feature of all.The DVD has an exelent picture and the speaker system has great sound and the subwoofer has plenty of power.For the price the quility is there,I am very happy with this system.
