Price Paid:  $700.00 from Crutchfield

Summary:
I think this is a great package to branch from. The receiver (along with the 6 disc carosel changer)is awsome. It does a wonderful job decoding the 6.1 channels in 6.1 encoded movies, along with non 6.1 encoded audio. The only drawback to the entire system, in my opinion, are the speakers. Like I said, this is a good system to branch from. Ihave already replaced the front L and R speakers with Klipsch Synergy F3 speakers and I am about to change the sub. Another thing that irked me about the system was that the sub was listed at 220 watts on the website, but the back lists it as 150 watts. The 220 is obviously RMS power, but they should list the normal output, not 220. All that being said, it is a great home theater package and has worked out great for me for the past 5 months.

Strengths:
Receiver, DVD changer

Weaknesses:
speakers a little weak for the system
