Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $699.00 from HH Gregg Louisville

Summary:
I love everything about the package EXCEPT the speaker system. They simply cannot handle the power of the HT-R510 6.1 amp. I suggest selling the speakers on eBay and upgrading to Polk or another top notch speaker system. Don't get me wrong, they sound great at LOW volume levels but this receiver is made to be played loud and clear. Onkyo has not perfected the art of speaker design and manufacturing but are unbeatable when it comes to amplifier technology.

Strengths:
The amp's power and features and
the cd/dvd player is great.
The subwoofer is outstanding.

Weaknesses:
speaker system

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
This is a great system for the buck ! I did plenty of research on HTIB and this one came up with the best ratings. After listening to it for a couple months the system can back up its good reviews. The sub is a true beast ,delivering its 150 watts of power.I have this system in a 18x10 room and it has no problem filling the surround sound. The center channel is as true as it can get. I wish more DVD movies were recorded with the 6.1 surround mode. There are plenty of settings to achieve the proper listening effect. Overall , I cant find much to complain about with this one.

Strengths:
Sub woofer power, easy to install , easy manuals

Weaknesses:
Left and right channel speakers are a tad to big for using standard speaker mounts. A lighted remote would be a good benefit, considering you watch most dvds in the dark.
