Summary:
CNET recommended this one and it can really put out a nice sound. The subwoofer puts out a lot of bass. This is my first 6.1 system. I have just used stereo for the last 20 years. DVDs really sound great in surround.

Strengths:
Great speakers and receiver for the price.

Weaknesses:
Can't see the remote in dim light. In TV Logic mode bass is overpowering on certain channels.

Summary:
The best sub 1000 dollar system money can buy and the ear can hear. I tested many sub 2000 dollar systems, and to my ears, none came close to the sound quality and clearity of this system.
