Price Paid:  $1498.00 from crutchfield

Summary:
Well afterbrowsing and trying differnt bose home theater I got their last and best one out....I did try AM5 which was not good at all then I did get the AM6 III which was ok for a small room I was still happy so I change it to the AM16...well I did notice the diffeance from the first movie ...it is the best of all the sub is huge it shakes the the walls and it can be a problem if you live in a apartment....the main key is how to dirce your cubes and where to sit ...follow the manual and you will be amazed...In general I do really like it but it needs a 6.1 reciever I got ONKYO SR600...which perfectly match with system. Oh I fogot to mention that I got a free BOSE radio with it they are offering this till Jan. 2003

Strengths:
Powerful sub , movable double cubs that allows you to fill the living room with music plus the free bose radio that they are offering right now, easy to hook up

Weaknesses:
Price may be a little bit high

Similar Products Used:
BOSE AM6III, BOSE AM5, and I did listen to polk at Circutcity

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
