Player worked great for the first year and then started locking up. The unit is now less than 1 1/2 years old and must be replaced. The unit is mainly only used on the weekends if at all. Player did not last two years.

Good quality etc. One thing. When it gets too hot, it can't read the disc anymore ... It usually get hot enough for that after 30 minutes in summertime, and 60 minutes in winter ... So. Don't buy it.

Summary:
First impressions were that the case was flimsy and the build quality not what I expected. The DVD tray is very light and flimsy. On first use however I was impressed with the picture quality. Blacks are very black and shadows look real. I have played a number of discs with no problems at all. The sound quality is also brilliant, lots of detail without being harsh. It plays standard CD's well too. Sound quality is great. It has to sets of analogue audio out puts which are good for multiple room set ups. The on screen menus are very confusing and it took me a few weeks to remember what the icons mean. Overall very happy with the picture and sound performance and would recomend it.
