Strengths: Startlingly good sound
dazzles you with amazing visual performance
love the onscreen menus on this modelWeaknesses: the only bone i ever had to pick with this player is that it doesn't play SACDs, but it came out the same time SACDs did though so it's tobe expectedBottom Line: My first experience with this player was in the summer of 2002 when i saw it at Sterling Electronics. My dad was decided topurchase this dvdplayer because atthe time of purchase it had the best picture quality on the market, period. When we got this baby home and hooked it up iwas amazed by the picture, and even the sound quality from this player. Colors are true, the blacks are deep and the sound is smooth. Another thing thatI really like about this player is the on-screen menus. The menus allows you to customize almost every aspect that the player handles and is fairly easy to navigate.
