Review 1 of 3

Summary:
DV-S6D is an upgraded version of DV-S5 which is available in Asia only. It's equipped with internal DD/DTS decoder (while only DD decoder is available in S5). Though the video quality is not upto DV-S9's standard, its video and audio qualities are way superior than those of its peers in this price range. Routed 24/96 digital signal to MSB LINK DAC for CD playback and s-video out via Qnect SVS s-video cable, I finally found peace.

System:
Classe CAV-75
MSB Music Link DAC
Pioneer DV-S6D
EPOS ES22
QNECT SVS S-Video cable
Transparent Music Link Plus

Strengths:
Saturated color, optimal audio quality, solid look, optimal price

Similar Products Used:
Denon 3000, Pioneer 515
