Bottom Line:
Well I upgraded from the Pioneer BDP 120 to the BDP 320, not that the 120 did not do the job. I just was looking for a higher level model. I have used the 320 for 9 months now and it works great, as long as you have the latest firmware update install. I express my view on this issuse in my review of the 120, and Pioneer really needs to get on that band wagon. I understand with their newer models (2011's) they are fully wifi and come bundled with all the apps people are looking for.

The BDP 320 is a really nice unit, a bit heavier than the 120 and has more indepth menus to fine tune your PQ. You can just go with the basic setup or break it down to raw direct view (no converstion of PQ, just what the disc has on it) The really big plus on this unit that may appeal to some is that it has the analog RCA output connector along with HDMI for those that don't have a HDMI AVR. Some are slow to dump their current AVR just because it does not have HDMI and this unit saves the day in that regard. The standard output of this unit is 1080P/24, but automaticly adjust to your LCD/Plasma/Projector etc..if their are unable to support 1080p/24. The BDP 320 also support Pioneer Deep Color and PQLS, If you are in that transistion mode and not ready to dump your current AVR this could be the player for you. Now days you can find one for around $100 easy.
