Summary:
Records DVDs like a comercial DVD that one would buy in the shops. Image is sharp full of colour and a true copy of whatever you are recording. Plays the whole lot too vcds cd etc etc etc

Price Paid:  $950.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
Bought the 985 recorder this machine does what it is suppose do do and does it perfect. recording all my VHS tapes to dvd and recordes movies off my cable. No proplems hooking it up. More connections on rear than any other machine I've seen.

Strengths:
Recording, Plays anything on cd or dvd Use's + dvd for quicker formating at end of disc on +r's

Weaknesses:
None that I've seen other than price a little high. But I think its worth it!
