Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Unit was operating good, until the front panel stopped working. I am not happy about that. Time to buy a different Make & Model.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $80.00 from Sears

Summary:
Oh my god...I think if I put an english muffin in this it would play great!!! I bought this since it can easily be made region free with the remote, but it performance blows away my other 2 new DVD players. I work as a TV producer, so am not easily taken aback, but the picture on this player is outstanding, the progressive scan with pulldown is great, it plays anything I put in, including DVD-Rs and DVD+Rs that none of my other players will. Great output , including for DTS.Beautiful pictire, flawless playback, with no pauses or breakup. Simply put, this player is the BEST value I have ever found. Not to mention it can easily be made region free, and will even play PAL DVDs on NTSC TVs!!! A trully great item!!!

Strengths:
Almost everything

Weaknesses:
None at all

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
