Review NaN of , from Denmark

Price Paid:  $420.00

Summary:
Had this one for one and a half year now, and never experienced any problems with it. I use it for CD player too and it just runs smooth, no complaints.

Don't know if the missing analog 5.1 output is a weakness, most amps has a digital input now a' days...

I like it. :)

And if you can find this one used, buy it! I know a few guys who use this one too, and none I knows of have had any problems with the player. Seen it for sale for about 200$, know that's a good buy.

It's still far better than many of todays players... I mean, this one's not buggin!

Have a nice new year...

Strengths:
picture, plays every DVD-disc you feed it, good for CD, good (and non-fancy) remote, runs silent.

Weaknesses:
non really... no analog 5.1 output maybe, but I don't use that...

Similar Products Used:
Toshibe, Sony

Review NaN of , from Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Price Paid:  $400.00 from local store

Summary:
Fine player, only problem I have encountered is that this player will sometimes hangs at layer changes, it just will not continue after that point. Maybe this can be solved by a firmware update.
This is somewhat of an older model, but when I purchased it, it gave a hell of a lot of bang for the buck, compared to the others (Pioneer a.o.) that were available at that time.

Strengths:
RGB output, DTS output

Weaknesses:
my unit has trouble with layer changes from time to time
