Strengths:    It was sub par in every aspect to my other dvd player.

Weaknesses:    H02 error, pixelated pictures quite often.

Bottom Line:
Panasonic DVD, and well everything Panasonic, sucks. Between the often pixelated dvd picture and the Ho2 error death, save yourself the headache and buy any other brand. Someone should really start a class action lawsuit against Panasonic for peddling junk, and Best Buy should boycott them for the same reason.

Strengths:    Quiet disc read, modest quality

Weaknesses:    MP3 read, modest quality, H02 error that i havent recieved yet, im waiting.

Bottom Line:
I have had this DvD player for 2 years now and i use it occasionally (2 dvd movies a month) and so far i have not recieved this HO2. The picture quality isnt the best but its not bad either, it lacks contrast and deapth however im surprise by how quite it plays the discs (sony's comparable model sounds like something is scratching). The mp3 disc playback is slow, and takes sometimes up to 10 seconds to find the next track, Not a bad dvd player for the price.

Strengths:    Ignore them.

Weaknesses:    HO2 error. What the f is it? And if there is a little screen that can tell you there is an "error," why can't it be coded to at least explain what is going on?

Bottom Line:
panasonic dvdcv-51
"Throw it out the window." I had the same problem (HO2) that most people seem to be experiencing. I too was a big panasonic fan, but never again unless they write me a check for a brand new, warranteed machine.
