This Kenwood DVD/CD player is an excellent unit. I have only had it for a short period, however I find it to provide excellent playback of both my CD's and DVD's. The 5 disc carousel was the main reason I purchased the Kenwood. I wanted one unit to replace both my old CD carousel and my single disc DVD player. Disc loading time seems a bit slow, however not painfully. The players appearance is in my opinion clean and handsome. Plenty of features, including CD-RW playback, DD/DTS, and composite video output. Dimmer modes include complete darkness for the main menu. For only $129 NEW, (around $100 less than MSRP) I simply could not pass up the DV-605. Strengths:
Looks good, 5 disc capacity, excellent Dolby Digital production. Weaknesses:
