Summary:
VCR portion of this combo works great, no complaints. MP3s work great on the DVD portion of this combo. Many regular DVDs (store bought and video rental) do not play on this combo, the JVC unit displays ERR and the TV display incorrect Disc. Sometimes unpluging the JVC unit and later pluging it back in will cause it to work, sometimes this does not even work.

Strengths:
VCR portin works great. MP3 does play well in the DVD portion.

Weaknesses:
Many DVDs will not play in this unit.

Similar Products Used:
Many DVDs that will not play in this unit plays correctly in my Panasonic DVD-RV31.
