Summary:
Picture and sound quality are great. Problem is the unit is unreliable. It's had numerous, varied problems already (no audio signal, no video signal, shaky video signal, DVD deck won't stop spinning to allow you to insert a DVD, won't eject VCR tape). It's already been back to a JVC service center once, and will be on its way again soon. JVC will not consider replacement of the unit at this time.

Strengths:
When it works, the picture and sound quality are great.

Weaknesses:
It is not reliable.
