Strengths: Solid feature rich performance with professinal black patina finish. This component blends well with other high end components such as Denon and Pioneer Elite. Plays VCDs.Weaknesses: Annoying display every time the tray is open. Very heavy piece of equipment. No enhancements have ever been posted for this program upgradeable unit. Does not recognize AVI files.Bottom Line: Excellent interpretation and distribution of sound tracks for 7.1 DTS-ES. Features and quality do match up with the price.
