Bottom Line: Best Buy no longer carries these folding Kosses. The UR-30s are better than most inexpensive full-sized closed headphones, but won't satisfy the die-hard audiophile. The bass is a bit boomy and muddy; the mids are a bit recessed and woolly; the highs are a bit tinny and grainy. But still, that's a far cry from most other cheap closed headphones, which suffer from that annoying ringing and echoing.
Overall, a decent performer for the price - but full-size headphones this cheap make numerous compromises in order to keep the price way down.

Bottom Line: these are very good sounding headphones.the base sounds rich and full as well as the high end.no harshness at mid.vol's, the foldable cups(the cups can be folded back at an 90deg,to make it e-z for beat mixing) make it grate for the working dj.fits in case real nice.
If you are a Dj on a buget these are the headphones for you.
