Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $100.00 from etronics

Summary:
Bought them because they are EXTREMELY comfortable. I had a pair of sony headphones with the leather earcups, but those are very fatiguing, and become too uncomfortable after 40 minutes use. These you can wear for a few hours before giving your ears a break. Sound quality is good, although I have limited experience with high priced headphones. Unlike leather suction headphones, these leak a lot of sound.

Strengths:
- comfort, comfort, comfort
- sound quality

Weaknesses:
- leak a lot of sound
- bulky

Similar Products Used:
Sony and JVC headphones that ran for more than $70.

Price Paid:  $90.00 from online

Summary:
I was looking at $100 range headphones, and I had a good exprience with SONY product before (I don't remember the model, but it was around $50 10years ago). I heard this is comfortable even with glasses on, so I deceided on this.

Strengths:
Generally good from low to high. Very comfortable. Even with wearing glasses, I can wear the phone for more than 2 hours with no problem.

Weaknesses:
Sennheiser HD 580 has more flat sound and better clarity, thus it's better for classical music. There are very little difference when you listen to pop music, though.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $70.00 from ebay

Summary:
After searching for comfortable, clean, bassy cans for a good price, I found these for a song on ebay. They sound just as I expected: accurate, entertaining, vibrant. I haven't heard that many different cans, but compared to some Senns, Panasonics, Audio Technicas and other Sonys these are up in the top 10% of most of the stuff found in stores.

Strengths:
Bass, comfort, expansive sound, value

Weaknesses:
proprietary cord (costs a fortune from sony), non-adjustable strap.

Similar Products Used:
HD-570, panasonic cans, CD580s, various other phones in electronics stores.

Price Paid:  $110.00 from Local hifi store

Summary:
First I was about to buy the mdr-cd580, but the store didn´t have those, so they sold me these 780´s for the 580´s price.

The sound of these headphones is spectacular, very clear treble and deep, powerfull bass. Absolutely fantastic wearing comfort, when you put these one, you never wanna take them off!

If you wanna get the best out of these headphones, you should have a good amplifier, but you can still get a fairly good sound from a portable player though.

I think these are the best headphones for the price!

Strengths:
- superb sound, very clear and natural
- superb wearing comfort

Weaknesses:
- none!

Similar Products Used:
Sony mdr-cd270 (poor!)
