Review 1 of 2

Summary:
Comparing to other headphones i used, Sennheiser built great one. You no depend on automatic gain control (like from other wendors), you can manualy adjust level of signal.
Sound you hear from RS 8 is clear and powerfull. Of course, when I walk, sometimes I loss signal (my apartment have thick steel-concrete walls) but its realy no problem.
Something about automatic gain control:
many vendors use agc, its seems to be good for techno or rap, but when in music high level of signal follow some quite part - sound seems to be compressed (just like cheap tape recorder without level control).

If you want good cordless headphones - choice Sennheiser RS 8 or if you need better enviroment isolation RS 80.

Rating: one star bellow because this headphone are not digital (anybody see digital headphones?).

Strengths:
No wires, clear sound, powerfull bass

Weaknesses:
Some difficult to setup proper level of signal

Similar Products Used:
Technics FM, Phillips FM, Sony infrared

Summary:
Great headphone you can hear your favorite music or TV program through your house. Even when I'm at the attic the sound is still very clear, though there're 2 computers.

Strengths:
No wires

Weaknesses:
Because you can walk with it through the whole house it will fall from your head every time you bend or something

Similar Products Used:
none

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
