Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $65.00 from The Source in Canada

Summary:
These headphones sound great, better than any other sub-$100 ones I've tried. Bass response is very strong, almost overpowering at first, but over time the sound spectrum becomes more balanced. The sound is very clear; music, voice and music all sound great. They're also very comfortable, one of few headphones I can wear with my glasses on. After prolonged use, however (3+ hours) I sometimes start to feel some pressure/pain on the ears.

I was very disappointed however when the right side stopped working. It seems to be a problem with the cable at the end near the headphones themselves.

Strengths:
Great overall sound quality, clarity.
Good value/price
Comfortable

Weaknesses:
Cable failed after just over a year of use

My life has changed since I got these babies. I cant believe I missed out on decent sound quality for so long. They rock with games!

The cable could have been reinforced.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $29.00 from Planet Saturn

Summary:
Well I can't believe it myself but those are the perfect headphones for metal. I just stopped using my extremely expensive sony's for this one.

Strengths:
The sound is perfectly balanced (which is to say that the basses are slightly upped, I'm talking metal there :D ) and the headphones are really light and comfortable.

Weaknesses:
Well it seems to be sennheiser's trademark, you have to listen to the upper part of the headphones to get the good sound.

Similar Products Used:
Expensive Sony headphones, just can't remember their names. (sorry I know this review is bas but I had to make it in a hurry, I really love those headphones and I wanted to see them with a good mark)

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
