Best Buy no longer carries these folding Kosses. The UR-30s are better than most inexpensive full-sized closed headphones, but won''t satisfy the die-hard audiophile. The bass is a bit boomy and muddy; the mids are a bit recessed and woolly; the highs are a bit tinny and grainy. But still, that''s a far cry from most other cheap closed headphones, which suffer from that annoying ringing and echoing.
Overall, a decent performer for the price - but full-size headphones this cheap make numerous compromises in order to keep the price way down. Strengths:
