Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $45.00 from Richer Sounds

Summary:
For the price these aren't bad earphones. I tried a few of the cheaper ones - I wasn't too fussed as this was for listening to music at work. The best thing about these headphones are the ergonomics - all of the cheaper ones squashed my ears and after 2-3hours started to hurt. The earpieces are nice and big and block out ambient sound quite well. Two problems: reception (constant background hiss) and the Auto-volume adjuster - occasionally doesn't pick things up as I play music quite quietly, and will sometimes blast me! :)

Strengths:
Excellent value, fairly good sound quality, good bass range. Neat and compact, VERY comfortable for long periods (up to 8 hours at a time)

Weaknesses:
"Signal Detection" - can take up to 30 secs before it realises that I'm playing something.

"Auto-volume" - temperamental at best, especially on Classical music

Similar Products Used:
Various cheap-o ones from Argos. :)
