$790.00 Summary: Perhaps the best sound in electrodynamic technology headphones(Stax are electrostatic). The headphones are connected to the loudspeaker output of the amplifier. This is an advantage (more quality than headphones output) and disadvantage (you need a dedicated amplifier if you don't want remove the loudspeaker connections everytime). The comfort is enough, but a little heavy for hours of listening. The sound. Open, detailed (like studio nearfield monitors), the bass are present (incredible 'cause the K1000 is absolutly open design!),armonics in middles and highs are magicals and the tridemensional presentation are better than usual headphones. For all type of music. Hi end on your head Strengths: clarity, transparency, low distortion, holographic sound, professional design and quality, hi end product Weaknesses: Needs very good electronics, should be connected directly to speakers out of amplifier, a little bright in high frecuencies, moderate comfort Similar Products Used: sennheiser HD 600, Jecklin Float 2, electrostatic headphones (Stax)
