Price Paid:  $25.00 from yahoo shopping

Summary:
I use a sony walkman cd player and for the past 3 years ive been using basic sony streetstyle headphones. i was in school doing what i do best ( listening to music ) and so was a friend on mine. he had these headphones ( hp-a288 ) and i said lemme see those i think i wanna find new headphones. so he lent them to me for a couple of songs. I listen to lots of extreme metal and need the good headphones, being an Audiophile and all. once i plugged in these bad boys and pressed play i was blow away!! these things were like 3 times the bass of the headphones i was using, and much louder all around. these were definitely the headphones i was looking for, while being stylish and all. the rubber for the ears is no only comfortable it also is noising canceling which is very helpful in school ( lunch ).

Strengths:
ALL AROUND THE GREATEST COMPACT CD PLAYER HEADPHONES IVE EVER HEARD.

Weaknesses:
NONE.

Similar Products Used:
nothing as well made.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $20.00 from luluusa.com

Summary:
These headphones are the best I have used. I got them (HP-AS288, last years model maybe) off of the internet a while ago, and the cord to jack connector broke, so I bought a new pair from lulu usa. The bass on these headphones just cant be beat. I listen to jazz and hiphop mainly, and can't find a frequency in music that these can't reproduce. Even 20hz comes through beautifully on these. The rubber earpads are better for isolating your eardrums and the music from the rest of the world than the typical foam earpads. I highly recommend these headphones.

Strengths:
BASS RESPONSE!

Weaknesses:
Well mine broke but i put them through a lot of abuse.

Similar Products Used:
Lots of decent headphones

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
