Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $40.00 from Last one auction, fi

Summary:
This product has significant design defects. However... I still love these
(have 3).. Great sound, just remember to tape each earpiece with duck tape -- otherwise, most of them fall off soon. I use a RCA 990 mz transmitter tower that I purchased with RCA wireless phones
and do not use the AW791 transmitter and that eliminates the hiss problem you can read extensively about in the other reviews.

Strengths:
Price is now down to $40
Great Sound

Weaknesses:
Need to workaround hiss problem
Need to tape up earpieces

Similar Products Used:
RCA 990 MZ headphones (not surround sound though)

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $31.00 from Amazon.com

Summary:
The comments here about the noise level and the need to reduce it by finding the right spot and not moving too much are true. Yet late at night when I don't want to bother anyone, I can lean back in my recliner and if the source signal is not to quiet I can ignore the noise. The sound quality except for the noise is quite good. I tried a pair of infered Sony MDR-DS3000 that cost $229. and they were only slightly better. For $31 these are great value. I would, however, pay more if I could eliminate the noise.

Strengths:
Range of reception, sound quality, input options

Weaknesses:
Noise

Similar Products Used:
Sony MDR-DS3000

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $108.00 from the Twister group

Summary:
Out of the box, the left headphone swivel had broken and was hanging loose. I contact the store and they sent me a replacement without any question, which I found really nice. I received the replacement and that time it was the right headphone swivel.

Strengths:
The sounds quality seems to be ok!

Weaknesses:
The headphone charger is not made for that model and it's probably why the swivel broke so easily.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $169.00 from Bestbuy.com (US)

Summary:
Received as a holiday gift last year ('02). Out of the box one headphone swivel had broken and was hanging loose. Ordered a replacement. Worked fine, notwithstanding the noticeable hiss described in other reviews here. Seems a bit of a waste, really, to run a digial cable to my PC and suffer the RF distortion Well, today returned the second pair for same reason: swivel post of cheap pastic construction had broken again in perfectly normal use.

Strengths:
Good bass
Good battery life

Weaknesses:
Poor materials construction (swivel attachment breaks)
Hiss.
