Every now, and then a product comes along that just grabs you by the throat, and chokes you until you snap out of it, and
realize that this is it! The Wheatfield HA-2 completely changed my mind about headphone listening in general. The combination of this amp with the HD-600s is simply amazing. It is the best combination of detail, and midrange magic I have ever heard. This amp is easily worth twice the asking price. Very highly recommended!

Strengths:
Sweet, sweet midrange, very detailed without being harsh, huge soundstaging, good build quality, and tube replacement is cheap. Has the ability to bring emotion to the music, and could make you cry!

Weaknesses:
Runs very warm, not as much slam, grip, or extension in the bass as some solid-state amps, doesn't work well with low impedance headphones.
