I bought this model without any pre listening.
Sounds good out of the box. I have not done
Any A-B comparison with any other speaker.
The sound has clarity with decent bass response.
Nothing outstanding but good match with my Rega
Brio amp + rega apollo cdp

Sound Quality, imaging, though boxy but goes well with the living room.
Excelent lows, mids and highs.

Till now I have found none.

I have been using these speakers for more than 1 year and the experience has simply been wonderful. These speakers produce christal clear sound and the highs, mids and lows are very well balanced. Infact listening to the low frequency notes is very entertaining because it handles a frenzied 220W RMS.
The sound is very room filling and with with the yamaha AX - 396 amplifier, which I had bought with these speakers, is a real bang for the buck.
I would defijnitely recomend these speskers to the people who want much more for less. I mean I got these speakers from Dubai and they cost me Dhs 900 only.
Initially I had no idea that I'll be able to find such speakers. I looked JBL an dInfinity also but none of them could match Yamaha's value. Infact they sounded pretty similar. But still these speakers had an edge over the competion I mentioned in sound and even in value.

Very good speaker for the money. Quite clear throughout all ranges. Bass responce is adequate, nothing special. Nice powerhandleing, but i belive somewhat over rated. Impressive looks with or without grill. These are listed with a spec of 8in by the china men on the woofer, but are in all actuallity pushing it to be 7in. Good purchase but don't pay retail.
